Louis Poulsen Lighting Inc. experienced substantial improvements in inventory management and productivity: the flexibility of the Axapta bill of materials (BOM) allowed them to rearrange and reduce their item numbers from 9,000 to 4,000 – and they were able to deliver a better product faster.
A streamlined order process lets Louis Poulsen Lighting track orders from time of entry to completion, so customers know where the order is at each point in the process. This real-time information means better customer service. According to Bagherlee, internal leadtime improved from three weeks to less than one.
